Phone call discussion with the team lead where they talked for 20 minutes about their project. I was then asked to talk about myself. After 10 minutes got told we were out of time and 10 minutes later got an email saying I was not considered and the job was offered to someone internal (I assume due to the phrasing used by the recruter).
Frustrating process to say the least given that on paper I had all the requirements for the position. It felt unprofessional and like I never had a chance from the beginning.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback, it's so essential in helping us improve the candidate experience. I completely agree that the way you were treated was unacceptable, and not reflective of our values here at Broad. We have spoken with the hiring manager involved and will be providing further training to the team to ensure this doesn't happen again.
