      Solicitud

Me postulé a través de una facultad o universidad. El proceso tomó 3 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Texas Instruments (Dallas, TX) en nov 2012

      Entrevista

The process began with on campus recruiteres, who took my resumes and had a short chat with. Next I was invited for an on [school] campus interview followed by the next phase which was a virtual or webex interview where I had to give a presentation on a project I had worked on. The final stage was the on site interview and it was by far the best interview experience I have ever had. They flew me in on a Wednesday morning, that evening I was treated to a happy hour and dinner where I met with employees who are in the rotation program I was interviewing for, they were all my age and spoke highly of the program. They had a short presentation to highlight the program and were all really cool people, made the whole experience really fun. The actual interview was on Thursday where we met with the same members of the rotation program to guide us to our interview locatoin, give us a tour, and chat with us before and after the interviews. The actual interview consisted of two 1 hour interviews each with 2 interviewers each. I had to give my presentation to both pairs separately during the two 1 hour interviews and was then asked questions on the presentation and other technical and personality questions.

      Pregunta 1

The most difficult question I was asked was when I was told to look at an unlabeled circuit diagram and try my best to identify what it could be for and describe it as best as possible,

3 rounds. The first was behavioral with very simple technical questions -- what's the offset voltage of an ideal op am, setup & hold time, etc. Second was mostly behavioral Third was behavioral with focus on my resume.

      Entrevista

The interview process was smooth, and my interviewer was nice. About 6 or 7 technical questions and 5 behavioral asked. Technical questions were all on op-amps and the behavioral were mostly centered around how I dealt with challenges and maybe 2 on my projects that I had on my resume.

Multiple rounds with people from different groups within the same team. It all comes down to if you can work with the manager or not. It is important to ask questions back about the state of the team and what they're looking for.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

What is a LPF and HPF? How does an op amp work? Describe different scenarios.
