It was a standard phone interview. I was called and I was asked questions for about 30 minutes. The questions were standard boiler plate phone screening questions. Anyone with a moderate amount of GIS experience and has done an interview before will be able to get through it.
My overall experience of the phone call was pretty good and I would have rated it a positive experience, however the company completely ghosted on me afterward. The only way I found out that I wasn't being considered anymore was when I logged into my account my application was listed as "not selected." No one from Tetra Tech ever sent an email or contacted me in any way to let me know that they moved on to other applicants. With a detailed database application process that they have, they really should be able to automate a generic "we have selected other applicants" auto email, but they did not. People who took the time to apply to your company are waiting. Ghosting – especially after any sort of interview – is just rude! Tetra Tech, you really should be more professional!
