Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Tether.to en sep 2024
Entrevista
I think everything is good at the first time, firstly they introduce about the company, and then I introduce about myself. They say will give me some take home test which will take times, and I replied like "is there any compensation to do it", and this is the worst thing begins I think, they said like "there's not, this is the company process rules". And then I just openly said that I already look at glassdoor and see 2 bad interview reviews and I told them because maybe it can be fixed, then I said like "maybe we can skip this test, and make live technical test", and same answers "that's company rules". Then I decided to accept to take the test. But after a few days waiting for the test, they just informed me to not take my applications any further.
Day 1: Submitted my application and in few hours received approval with calendly link to book an intro meeting. (first available slot was +15 days)
Day 16: Intro meeting was very nice and friendly and took about 10-15 mins. In couple hours I received followup to choose a day to complete take-home assignment. I've booked my free day in a week.
Day 23: I have not received my assignment in time so I have to ping the HR. Later in about 5 hours I received my task and completed it. The task was ok and not overcomplicated. So I sent the result to the HR
Day 24: Received response that they would review my task
Day 28: I pinged the HR if they completed the review. Received response in couple hours that they were still reviewing
Day 37; I pinged the HR again
Day 38: "After careful consideration and discussions with the team, we’ve decided to proceed with other candidates who we feel are a better match for this position"
I'm completely fine with rejection decisions based on fit or experience. However, the overall process felt poorly coordinated and unnecessarily prolonged, especially considering the assignment had a strict completion window on the candidate side.
