The process was streamlined:
1. Test Gorilla Assessment
2. Interview with future Manager
3. Interview with COO
Interviews were short, 30 minutes and allowed time for questions which was appreciated, and I was given more context about where TG is headed in the future in the interview with COO.
No red flags and interviews were conversational, yet still targeted towards learning more about my experience. Overall a great experience!
Areas for improvment:
- I never spoke to the Talent Acquisition person via video or phone not even for the offer, all of our communication was via email. This was quite strange for me and is the first time this has ever happened in a recruitment process. Having only email contact left me feeling a bit unsure.
- I would have appreciated an opportunity to speak with the recruiter / TA specialist via video or phone at the offer stage. Ideally, after I'd had time to review the initial contract proposal that was sent over. I think this could have reduced the back and forth emails to clarify my questions. That being said, all my questions were resolved and answered in the emails, but I would have appreciated that human touch at the final stage.
