Entrevista
I had two interviews so far. The two varied a lot, but one thing in both is true- one tech question at the end.
I have been asked to "go through my resume"/"tell me about yourself". Then usually you talk and they ask based on your experience and projects.

Q1: What variable would you change to decrease the bending of the beam: width or height?
Q2: You have two plates and a bolt connecting them together. There is a nut to tension the bolt. How would the clamping torque change if there was a lubricant on the nut vs. without lubricant?
two rounds of interviews both extremely technical, one being your more usual technical questions for MDE, the other being open ended and more confusing to come up with a clear solution for.

Interview was multi-stage with direct hiring manager and recruiter. Questions focused on technical knowledge for materials and mechanics. Manager stressed a workaholic attitude and no work life balance. Had no interest in candidate only in technical knowledge.
