Applied online - they phoned me a few days later asking me to come in for an interview. Went in for it today and whenever i got there i had to sign a few documents as someone photocopied my passport and national insurance. Then i went in to the interview room and was interviewed by two women who were department managers. They asked me a few questions like do i have any criminal convictions etc. Then they asked me the questions which were all set out in a booklet. They were quite difficult but were all based on giving examples of a time where i had experienced something based on the question. There were 5 main parts to the interview with questions relating to each part. They were customer service, teamwork, drive, personal integrity and following rules. Then i was brought down to the checkouts where i helped customers packed bags and talked to them for approx 10 mins. I was told it could take up to 4 weeks to find out if i was successful but hopefully it wont take that long. Quite difficult questions but it helps if you just have loads of examples to give.

Temp xmas staff interview. Pretty basic questions. They get to know you and ask typical questions, i found most of them online before hand. Before i got offered the interview i had to do an online questionnaire. Got job on the same day as the interview.
