Entrevista
- Applied on Tesco Bank career website
- Got an email next day requesting me to book a Telephone Interview via the link sent.
- Passed the telephone interview (45 mins competency based interview), used previous work experience to answer the questions. Passed (the interviewer will keep you on hold for few mins before letting you know if you passed) and was invited for Assessment Day in Newcastle office.
- Was sent a link for Personality test. Easy and answered quickly. Have to be done 24 hours before assessment day. It's recommended to be done as soon as you receive it. It takes few mins to complete it (there is no correct or wrong answer in this test)
- Assessment day was 2.5 hrs
* They will show you the place you will/might work, introduction to Tesco Bank, the role and benefits
* Was called in for a face to face interview with two assessors almost competency based as well.
* Lastly, Role play one assessor acts as Team Manager and another calls you on the phone. I was given a scenario on a printed paper to read and prepare for a customer call.
Looked like the assessment day was conducted by a recruitment specialist company called Search recruitment
I was told that they will let me know with in 7 working days. In 4 working days I got an email from Search recruitment congratulating me that I successfully passed the recruitment process and will call soon for training and next step. Within an hour I received a call from Tesco Bank and was given a verbal offer and informed about the next step.
The best way to pass the whole process is be yourself, enjoy it and avoid being nervous.
The assessors were nice and made us comfortable but keep in your mind everything you do or say on assessment event is assessed.
