Applied through my Universities career center, got an email the next day from a recruiter asking to set up the initial screening. After the screening, it took about 3 weeks to get a response from the recruiter to set up the next interview. Everyone I spoke to at the company was excited for the Marketing Associate program to be implemented again and spoke highly of the program and the employees that came out of the program. My interview with the hiring manager went well, and they immediately emailed me to schedule the follow up interview. This is when things started to go downhill. I set up my interview date and they then proceeded to tell me that the interview for this position would take 4-5 hours, so I took time off of work for the interview. I get a phone call a couple days later telling me that the Marketing Associate program has been cancelled, and that my recruiter would be following up to cancel my interview. I asked for more clarification and never heard anything back. The entire process took about 6 weeks and I ended taking time off and dedicating a lot of time into preparing for the interviews only for the program to be unexpectedly cancelled, and I still haven't heard back from either of the recruiters I had been in contact with.
