      Entrevista

The first interview was with the recruiter, and she asked basic questions. I then met over the phone with the hiring manager. I then had two back to back interviews over the phone with different directors. I was asked to come into the Lewisville office to meet with a manager (not anyone I would be working with, just a face in the office). After that I was asked to meet via Skype with the hiring manager again. I thought after SIX interviews, this would have resulted in a decision...I was very wrong. The hiring manager asked me to fly out to New York to meet the team. I was given vague direction on setting up the trip and less than a weeks notice. After setting up 4 flights for one day, just so I could meet with the New York team for all of 3 hours, the recruiter called less than 48 hours before the flights asking me to change because she hadn't even looked at the teams calendar to book the meetings. When I said no, due to having set up someone to watch my girls already, she magically figured it out (after rudely asking "Can't you just ask someone to watch them longer?") and the trip was set. When I got to New York, I had three interviews with other people in the office. They had me call and do another interview with someone who works remotely. I then got to meet with the VP, who sat there facetiming her son the entire time because he couldn't find a bottle of ketchup. When I was done with the interviews, the hiring manager disappeared and I sat there for an awkward amount of time trying to figure out if I just leave. (If you are keeping count, this is now ELEVEN interviews) After getting back, I followed up with the recruiter. They ghosted me for about 2 weeks before calling and saying I didn't get the job. Overall, I felt like I had to jump through hoops to interview for Teladoc and they did not respect my time at all. I work for myself, so it was easier to complete all these interviews. However, I'm not sure how anyone could take so much time out of their current position in order to satisfy the excessive amount of interviews they want you to do (especially since this is a non-managerial position).

After 11 interviews, they have asked just about everything under the sun.
