So TCS hiring process mainly has 3 rounds: 1. NQT Test 2. Technical Interview round 3. HR+MR round Most times HR and MR are merged with Technical so it's only one interview with three interviewers. In my case, there was only an interview round and firstly they asked me to introduce myself and describe my projects and asked me about my preferred language. They asked me about the OOPS concept in Java and I mentioned my preferred language Java. After this, they asked my SQL-like types of joins, ACID properties, Normalisation, and after theoretical questions. They asked me to write SQL queries on the problem statement. Then the second manager asked me about my projects and what challenges I faced during my project development. Also, asked me basic questions related to Python like the difference between tuple and list, and what is lambda function. Then Started asking Situation and Behavioural type of questions like how do you handle pressure(Explain with situation), If one of your teammates dumps all of his work on you how would you react to that situation, how do you handle conflicts with coworkers, What makes you different from all other people in this panel for hiring you. Then the third person asked me some standard hr questions: 1. Are you comfortable working night shifts? 2. Will you be able to relocate? 3. Why do you want to join TCS? 4. Do you have any questions for us? My interview lasted 30-35 mins. Tips:- 1. Be confident and speak clearly 2. Prepare for HR and MR 3. Keep your basics strong All the best!
