      Entrevista

Questions were like most in other companies for manager roles. I did get to meet an interviewer from management level who kept saying how fun and happy employees are, but his tone and his experiential sharing was more of ranting on how a restructure hit them and he seemed dismissive about its success. He also looked frustrated when he talked about other managers which started to give me an uneasy feeling at the time. He also asked me to take an on the spot assessment which was never shared in the prep work, though it was easy, it would have been polite to say so, since when you hire people you want to see them perform at best. I got through most interviews though until I met someone from Senior Management who asked typical questions, they encouraged speaking freely and openly. However this one manager sarcastically told me “its’ a simple yes or no question” lol what was that? When you interview someone and say speak freely respect that they will. After that I received an email that they will no longer push through with my application. No feedback as to why, regardless of having done supposedly well in past interviews. Companies should also speak freely about what applicants can improve, instead of leaving a cold note there after an opportunity is discontinued. Spend time to share feedback. Just be transparent with applicants, we know that there is no such thing as perfect companies and perfect employees. We can take the feedback and learn from them.
