      Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Target (Bengaluru) en jul 2025

      Entrevista

      Got myself referred to a couple of positions at target and got a call from the recruiter to take the process forward. Recruiter1 asked a few questions about my experience and expectations to see the job fit. Someone (Recruiter2) else contacted me from her the recruitment team to schedule the interviews. When I asked about the focus areas of the interviews, Recruiter2 asked me to contact Recruiter1. (Seems like they have the same job at the company, but don't bother to cross-check with each other to make interviewee's life easier. First round went well. They asked me about logical questions and implementation of React component through a live coding session. He was likely a Sr/Lead in the team judging by their interview mannerisms. Positive interviewing experience here. Got ghosted for 3 weeks. Got a call from Recruiter1 about clearing the first round, but they said that cannot consider me for a Lead but a Sr. Recruiter2 scheduled the second round. When I asked about the focus area for this round, they said connect with Recruiter1. (silly me!) Second round was again about JS and React. This interviewee was maybe a bit junior member on the team, as it felt like they were looking for the exact answers with a complete running code instead of inferring the logic or checking the overall knowledge. (probably was scolded for coloring the sky pink as a kid.)
