Applied online and had an initial phone screening with a recruiter, which went great. Moved on to the second phone screening with the hiring manager. Immediately when we started speaking, I picked up on an obvious disinterest in me as a candidate, and anything I said was met with the same bored reaction, even though my skills and experience lined up perfectly with the JD. She did not answer my questions thoroughly and overall was super low energy and distracted, and it was clear that she already had someone else in mind for the role and she was just wasting my time. Unsurprisingly, I did not move on to the next round. Disappointing and frustrating experience.
