Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Target (Alexandria, VA) en nov 2010
Entrevista
Had to sit through the same interview 3 times. Very odd questions, basically repeated in a different way over and over. Seems like they want people to slip up rather than be honest. They basically interview everyone who applies for positions, so they weed people out rather than read the applications and interview based on your interests matching their needs. They had no idea I was even scheduled to interview and pulled 3 random managers off the floor. Once hired, I had to interview AGAIN - 3 TIMES - when I tried to switch to a more reasonable position. The entire process of interviewing took about 6 weeks, with an offer at the last interview.

Are you comfortable racially profiling people in an attempt to catch people shoplifting? (This is serious! Target in Alexandria, Hybla Valley, and Falls Church, VA all engage in this, especially against African-Americans.)
Average they asked the standard questions that you would expect in a interview. Had to interview with 3 different individuals. Including a manager, director of department
And someone in Human Resources.department.
You have to record some videos answering some questions about your experiences and how they could translate to the position. After that, if approved, a recruiter reaches out to schedule an interview with the hiring manager at the store. Super simple!
