Target stresses on this. Ask you recruiter. R3/Tech Panel - Was given a coding challenge and I made sure that I exceeded their requirements and prognosis of what possible say scenario planning on the product I was building. The twist was they wanted me in story telling mode which I discovered at the tail end of the interview. I barely slept that night so that is there. Target is more on fit and culture than anything. They actively seek and promote within the org. I was not surprised when my offer wasnt extended as I somehow perceived during the interview process. But I can say the org and team I was interviewed was soo good that I declined my Amazon interview before I could have analyzed/inferred all this. They care more about their employees and so that internal hire makes sense.
