A very long and tedious interview process.
1) Call with a recruiter who got in touch via LinkedIn
2) Zoom Interview with a hiring manager
3) Technical panel with two Technical Account Managers, they showed you a presentation with snippets of code/information and you had to explain what each part was
4) Homework assignment, you get a week to complete the three stage task where you use an online virtual lab. You get 20 hours on the lab. For this task you had to write an email response, make the Tanium platform do something interesting (very vague) and then present this in a video once complete. This took up all of my weekend and most nights, very difficult to find the time if you’re employed!
5) Interview with Area VP
By far the most thorough interview process I have undergone, proud to have got this far as I know that a lot of people don’t. Some red flags for me were the fact that the Area VP didn’t even know what I did for my assignment! I spent countless hours on the assignment on weekends and evenings. It also sounded like they would hire you and just give you equipment to use on your own at home with barely any guidance.
Unfortunately didn’t get offered the job, sounded like it was down to experience but I shouldn’t have got to the fifth round if that’s the case. I wouldn’t waste your time.
