I interviewed with a gentleman whose name started with an M and has four letters. It took many frustrating attempts to get the interview scheduled, despite being referred by someone. Communication was terrible, with long gaps and constant rescheduling. When I finally received an offer, it was a shockingly lowball figure, much lower than what we had initially discussed. The whole process was disorganized and unprofessional. Overall, the experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. The lack of respect for my time and the bait-and-switch tactics regarding the offer were clear red flags. I can't imagine what the actual hiring manager and organizational culture are like if this is how they treat potential employees. The negative reviews were spot on, and I regret not heeding the warnings. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Talkdesk. I'd rather be a garbage man than work for such a disorganized and disrespectful company.

The initial interview process seemed very well organized. The team communicated effectively and very had been very responsive. I went through the initial screening call, spoke with a sales leader, and his direct manager, and that’s things started getting messy. On my third round my interviewer seemed very distracted and had asked if I’d met with several additional resources. I explained who I’d talked to, and he carried on as though everything was okay (I had not met with who he expected). We talked about my sales experience, and philosophy for a bit, and the remainder of the calls was very informal. What are my hobbies, interests, etc. again I felt like this went well as we had some shared interests. To wrap the call, he said he would be moving me to the stand and deliver portion of their process.. they then went completely dark for several weeks. I followed up multiple times and got responses initially, but then nothing.. I finally got an email back several weeks later saying “we’ve gone with a candidate more closely aligned with the role” typical automated/system generated stuff.
