Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en Tails.com en may 2020
Entrevista
First interview was with the hiring manager not a recruiter which was somewhat surprising. It was a lot of behavioral questions about a time that I accomplished a goal, or problem solving skills. He asked what interested me about this role, etc.
After a week, he sent me an email saying I interviewed well but they were looking for something specific for this new role and other candidates had more experience in that. I thought it was really nice to get that feedback directly from the hiring manager.

The interview process did feel quite long, but overall it was positive. A recruiter had reached out to me and missed a couple of calls, which was frustrating.
I had a face-to-face with someone on the Product Team, which was great. He talked openly and honestly about some of the challenges Tails.com had had in the Product Team while they were growing, and asked me fairly basic questions about my background.
I was successful in the first stage and invited back for a two hour session which included presenting to two senior members of staff after having completed a challenge. I thought the interview went reasonably well, but I did stumble on a couple of questions that were quite specific to Tails.com as a B2C company (I'm from a B2B background).

Tails.com bill their customers on a rolling 30 day cycle, which means that the day/date of the month they're billed is subject to change.
If they were to allow their customers to choose a set payment date, how might that affect the business?
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts about your interview experience at tails.com. Feedback is always greatly received, and it can hopefully help us improve our experience for future candidates.
Thanks again,
