the most unprofessional experience!
I applied in Nov. 2020, I received an interview in Feb 2021. The Interviewer was very nice and open. we talked over different aspects of their product and I had a similar experience in their area. The interviewer showed herself very interested and told me they will set up the next round with a ROS-based take-home coding challenge.
But, I never heard back from their recruiter. after a few weeks, I reached the recruiter and she told me they have decided not to move forward.
So, I don't understand why the manager told me, they will be asked for a coding challenge. It is easy to say "ok, we will interview other applicants and if you were qualified we will notify you for the next round."
This is seriously annoying and unprofessional to keep you waiting!

I should myself inserted in ML. So, she asked a little bit about my background in that area.
First I had a phone interview regarding my project, mainly from my resume. Then I was given a ROS challenge and the follow up round was through skype based on some questions regarding the ROS challenge and a coding question. The interviewers were very polite and encouraging.
