Recruiter sent an email saying they needed to know my pay range prior to even having a call/providing any info. I said I would prefer to learn about the day to day/learn about the company prior to defining what I’d need to be making…then got the reply to the email of “we are moving forward with other candidates then.” What was the point of that? How do you expect to find any quality candidates when you have someone give no background on the role, no background on company/company culture or benefits? All of those play into what someone is looking for in terms of pay.
