You will get two interviews that, for me, took place in the lobby --- the first one with the Manager in charge of the store location, and the second one with the Area Coach of the district --- in other terms, the Manager's boss. My personal experience was that the one with the Manager was more casual and laid back, while the one with the Area Coach is the one you should especially look out for. While you get a good impression with the manager, if the Area Coach doesn't like you chances are you won't net the job.
If you pass both interviews, you get called in another time to sign various paperwork, get uniform, etc.

In person interview with assistant hiring manager for new location in Brighton MI. Standard interview process and standard interview questions. Exactly what you would expect for a retail food service fast food restaurant.

I was scheduled do have an interview with the regional manager Israel, however when I arrived, he wasn’t there. Instead, I was interviewed by the manager of that location (unfortunately I’ve forgotten her name but she was really nice and cool). She told me about the work and about how that specific location was a fairly easy job. I was asked about my schedule, which I confirmed was open and flexible, and if I would be going on vacation this summer, which I would not be. I was told that Israel would contact me later that day to set up a proper in person interview sometime later. Over a week later I receive an email telling me that they would be hiring someone who “more closely fit their needs.” At no point in the original interview or application process was I asked about my experience, if I had I would have told them that I had over 5 years experience in retail and 2 years experience cleaning kitchens. I tried reaching out to see why I had been rejected when it seemed pretty obvious that the person in charge of hiring wasn’t doing their job properly, and unsurprisingly, I never heard back from Taco Bell.
