I met the "Assistant to the Production Engineer Manager" at a career fair. The next day, I got an email to set up an interview. The interview had 7 people. I thought the interview went great when a couple of the engineers took me out to lunch afterward. They kept telling me the hours for the job sucked and complained most of the time. A lot of the interview was them telling me about the job and how you need to be a jack of all trades. I followed up after the interview, but I did not get any response from the HR department or Engineer. Two weeks later I called the HR department asking to see if they made a decision on the position, and she said she would find out. She did not email or call me back, so I emailed her a week later. Then she said that they will email me if they make a decision. I would not recommend interviewing here.

Tell us about a time when you solved a problem that did not have a singular solution?
They asked if I have any experience with PLC. I did not, but they did not seem too concerned about that because they went on to tell me that it was basic programming.

In the interview the PE Manager, PE Machining Supervisor, PE Assembly Supervisor, PE Die Cast Supervisor and an HR representative were present in the room, which was about 12 x 10 with some Japanese art, since it's a Japanese company. There was only one interview in the process, after which, I received the job offer. They asked a multitude of questions ranging from "will you move closer to work? Do you mind the drive?" to "Why did you apply here? What do you know about Manufacturing? How well do you work under pressure of multiple deadlines?"
