Logical Reasoning – Puzzles, sequences, data sufficiency, pattern matching. Programming Logic – MCQs on loops, arrays, OOP, data structures, algorithms. Coding – 1–2 hands-on programming problems (Python, C, C++, Java, etc.). ⏱ Duration: Usually 90–120 minutes. 📌 Tip: Clearing this round is mandatory to get the interview call. 2. Technical Interview If you clear the online assessment, you move to the technical round. Here the focus is on your core programming and problem-solving skills. Common areas covered: Programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python) Data Structures & Algorithms Database concepts (SQL queries, joins, normalization) OOP concepts (inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation) Software development basics (SDLC, Agile) Basic coding on paper/whiteboard 📌 Tip: They often ask you to explain your final-year project in detail — architecture, technologies used, challenges faced. 3. HR Interview This is the final selection stage and focuses on personality, communication skills, and culture fit. Common HR questions: Tell me about yourself. Why do you want to join TCS?
