      Entrevista

Interview process started well. Applied online then received a call a from one of recruiters out of the Dallas Office to see if I was still interested three days later. From there I had a phone interview with another recruiter from their East coast office. The Recruiter was very nice and explained the details about the position. A week later i was asked to interview in person with the hiring manager. The actual in person interview was a group panel with three Account Managers and the Director of the region. I can tell you the Director was very cold and seem to have his mind set up from the moment we shook hands. The Account Managers on the other was very nice and we we did have a good conversation about my resume, Metro PCS future plans and indirect department. The big red flag however came when i was ask about salary. For what they was asking from this position and the what they was willing to offer was very insulting to say the least. I made it very clear what i expected and I sure once i let my expectations be known everything went downhill from there. After the interview I did not hear anything from the recruiter for weeks. When I was finally able to get in touch with her after leaving her a voicemail and email. She told me they do not plan on moving forward and thank me for my interest.

      Entrevista

I applied to a job posting on Careerbuilder.com that announced that MetroPCS was expanding into the Cleveland, Ohio market. I had a phone interview with the recruiter, and then an in-person interview with the hiring manager who told me I did very well in the interview, and that he wanted me to come back for a panel interview with his boss, an HR manager, and another manager. I waited for a call from the recruited to be scheduled for the next interview as the hiring manager had promised. I was never contacted within the specified timeframe. So, I reached out to the recruiter who seemed totally confused, and told me that she was still waiting to hear from the hiring manager who had interviewed me. Since this did not mesh with the previous conversation that I had with the hiring manager, I reached out to him, and got no reply. I waited 1 week, and touched base with the recruiter again who reassured me that they were still going to interview me, and that things were just moving forward slowly on their end. About 5 days later, I heard a commercial on the radio announcing the "Grand Opening" of the new MetroPCS stores that day. So, thinking that I would have been hired by the time of a "Grand Opening" launch, I called the hiring manager only to find out that they had indeed filled the position, and that the recruiter was to have notified everyone a long time ago. Clearly, somewhere within my interview process the chain of communication was broken. It's impossible to know what occurred, but needles to say it was not what I would consider a positive interviewing experience. It definitely wasted a considerable amount of my time.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

They use a very common behavioral based interview question format. Nothing very demanding. They just ask for detailed examples of how an applicant has handled challenges in previous roles they have held.
