I submitted resume and the corporate recruiter reached out 2 days later for a phone screen. Phone screen went really well and he said he was so impressed with my STAR technique and my distribution finance background etc. He said he was going to push things as fast as possible for next round and asked my availability etc. I sent thank you email that night. I then followed up 1.5 weeks later and no response. 3 weeks later Sysco sends a generic email saying they’ve tried reaching me multiple times so they withdrew my application. I never received a call or email from the recruiter! No voicemail nothing! Be professional and give the real reason! What a waste of time. I will never recommend seeking a job here.
