As frustrating as my experience has been, I feel like I've dodged a bullet! Utterly unprofessional process! After 4 interviews and a cognitive test (hello 1999!), and the Hiring Manager stringing me along telling me that the contract was "just around the corner", I was told that he could not hire anyone for the role in Europe, because it would take several months before their Legal team gave them the green light to do so! No recruiter/HR in the loop. The hiring manager (HM) was my principal point of contact. The HM appeared to be so busy that I had to set up Zoom calls for every single interview. The HM and the people I spoke to in the process were pleasant and seemed competent, but the company feels very old-school and appears to not know how to create a modern presales team. The tech seems capable, but after my experience, I cannot recommend interviewing with or working at this company.
