I applied online at the beginning of the year. The recruiter returned to me pretty quickly, we had a chat after which I was given a take-home tech assignment. In a week after I had submitted it, I was told that they had closed all the positions and might be hiring again in 6 months and would reach out to me. That was pretty discouraging as I felt like I'd spent my time in vain. To my surprise after 6 months they did return to me with the proposition to continue the interview where we'd left off. I still had interest in the company so I agreed to carry on. I had a technical session around my experience and the assignment (which luckily I still had) and another team interview with more generic discussions. No crazy questions, no live coding - just a nice talk with experienced engineers without going to deep into details. Good experience overall without too much stress. Having completed all the rounds I received an offer. Unfortunately, the salary proposed was a bit lower than the range we had discussed earlier. I agreed eventually as I had interest in the domain and invested much time in the process. Don't regret it so far:)
