I applied online, and was contacted about a week later. When I arrived for the interview, I was asked to take a short test for whatever subject I was wishing to tutor. I then went in for the interview. I was asked mostly questions like "what do you like most about teaching?" "What do you like least about teaching?" "If a child is being disruptive, what would you do?" "Why do you want to work with at-risk children?" I was told interviews would continue through the rest of next week. I was asked if I would be willing to be a substitute teacher, if they could not offer me a FT position.
