      Entrevista

      I was called by the CEO to setup a time to meet, the phone conversation consisted of setting a time to meet, no other questions were asked. As far as I know a college degree or recruiting experience is required to work at Switchgear. I met once with the CEO, the entire interview was more about selling the company and the award the CEO and the company has won than my skills or experience. The CEO presents really well and does a good job at selling Switchgear. I listened for about a hour, and I was offered the position later that day.

      Thank you! Our internal hiring process has changed significantly. Prior, the CEO interview was the last stage of the process once the hiring team was ready to make an offer. That meeting was so that the candidate could ask any questions and get a solid feel for the culture of the company. We have since adopted the TopGrading process, so if you interview for an internal Switchgear position, that interview takes between 3-4 hours.

      Entrevista

      I was required to travel 2.5 hours to interview, with 24 hrs notice. The meeting was with the COO Brent Fields and the CEO Dixie Agostino. The role was to be a Remote Recruiter opportunity.

      Yes, it is a drive from OKC to Tulsa & back. However no one is required to interview for any position. We are able to act very quickly and can usually interview people within 24 hours if they are talented and their schedule is available. We do use profanity in our office and in our interviews so candidates are prepared for the work environment from the very beginning and are not surprised later down the road. Communication in our office can be very frank with little sugar coating and we have a heavy client base within manufacturing so the ideal candidates for our team can handle a blue collar work environment and people who say it like it is. -Dixie Agostino, CEO

      Entrevista

      Initially had a couple of phone screens with a recruiter and the owner. After that I had a panel interview with everyone and felt unsure as to whether or not I got the job. The owner said to follow up with her and she would let me know either way. Well, that didn't happin. I called twice and emailed and she blew me off. I lost the initial respect I thought I had for her.
