I had a disappointing experience during the interview process. After a positive conversation with the interviewer, I was told I would hear back within the next week about the next steps. However, the week passed without any follow-up and despite sending a polite follow-up email, I received no response. I understand that hiring processes can sometimes take time, but the lack of communication and failure to provide feedback felt unprofessional and disrespectful. I had to independently check the job platform to find out the position was no longer available. While the interview itself was fine, the absence of follow-up left me with a negative impression of the company and its communication practices. I hope they can improve in this area for future candidates.
