I emailed the studio director about interest in the developer position, and provided my resume and cover letter. I got a response the next day on a weekend. They took me out to lunch the following week, showed me the prototype to a larger-scale project they were working on, and were friendly. The company's founder even came with, which was an honor to me. I was called in to interview, and I cold only describe it as fun. The people interviewing were chill, funny, and friendly. If this company was Zappos, these would be the kind of staff Tony Hseih would want to have a beer with after work. The interview questions weren't difficult, except for the trajectory code. I got a job offer with a week later.
