1st interview: by Phone. Job recruiter told me a little bit about company and the role of the position. Then asked me a couple of questions, then asked if I had questions, then gave me opportunity to discuss experiences. Conversation was candid and informal, and all my inquiries were answered clearly. Called back an hour later to tell me I made it to the second interview and we set that up. 2nd interview: In person at local offices, interviewed in a four person (2 male, 2 female) group. Prior group interviews in my experience were conducted differently. Interviewer was a seasoned top executive of the local branch who first gave us a little bit of his own background, then asked us a little about ourselves, put us in a sales scenario, and asked a couple of individual questions. We were told that we would be contacted within twenty four hours to set up a 3rd one on one interview, After 72 hours, I contacted the recruiter and told her I had yet to hear anything, she said to give her a day and she would find out what the holdup was. The next day, I received a rejection letter via email. I believe that I would be employed with this company if the job recruiter was doing the hiring.

Phone interview. Asked if you have had any sales experience or customer service experience? Are you comfortable with standing and walking for long periods? Are you comfortable with engaging with customers and also helping with customer service throughout retail stores?
