Applied online for graduate program. 2 weeks later I received call to setup a phone interview. Phone interview took place about 1 week later consisting of a quick review of my resume and some general behavioral type questions. I was then flown out to Calgary for an in person interview (airfare, taxi, hotel, and food are all paid for). In person interview was roughly 1 hour long. The manager asked many behavior related questions based on past work experience. Two weeks later I received an email stating that I had not been selected.
The positions seem to be incredibly competitive. If you make it to the in person interview, then you likely have the right skills and are qualified for the position. They are primarily interested in finding out if you are the right "fit" for the company and that specific role. Overall it was a good experience.
