Tried to make money while still in school. Sounded promising from the job posting. 3 Day process. I applied online. After the first day i was told I would receive a phone call if my profile fit the job. Not a single thing about the job was mentioned straight up, even after I inquired about the responsibilities of the position. I tried to visit their website to find out more but just as the "Hiring managers" were, it was bland, uninformative, and for lack of a better term, it beat around the bush. The "manager" (not really sure what to call him) couldn't stop talking about how his training in the Army helped him with the strength and leadership qualities he has to make him so successful at what he does. I have nothing against military service as many of my family and friends have served but none of them are full of themselves like this clown was.
The second interview was where I found out that this would be a soliciting job, but I thought maybe over the phone or at office presentations. No it is door to door and i found this out on my first day on the job.
Lesson learned. Do not take a job unless you know every detail about the job. I am now working as a self taught programmer and making more than I ever would have at this place.
