I applied for a job on Jobstreet some time early this year. One of the recruiters called to ask if I would be interested in joining them as a recruiter instead. Went through 2 interviews, one of which had a role play to see if I would be good at screening a candidate for a certain position. Managed to pass the interview. I then had to take the CEI exam and then start with the pretty intensive training, about a month later. :) All is good! Its a boutique firm and everyone is helpful and want each other to succeed. If you are interested in being a recruiter, it would be great if you have a sales background.
