      Firstly they scheduled a virtual interview then they rescheduled it twice. After that the recruiter said they'll directly take in-person interview their manager really liked my profile. And this turned into the most pathetic interview experience i ever had, first they asked me to be there 10 min prior i reached they asked me to wait for 10-15 min but they took me in after almost 40 min i was waiting this whole time. After that they did not ask any relevant questions or anything from my last experience they just asked random questions and then tried to prove that i don't have the experience to justify my current compensation. The owner clearly said that this is business so how can someone prove the experience in the interview itself. You need to give them a chance to explain themselves better. They just pin pointed my mistakes only and then gave me a compensation way lower than my current one and showed like they were doing some kind of favour by giving me the job. Just one thing to say don't waste anybody's time if you don't have the budget just don't call anyone for an interview, calling someone and giving them a lecture and offering something way less than their current CTC is not good practice it won't give you a good employee.
