Employers should be cognizant of the fact that candidates invest a considerable amount of time, effort, and financial resources to prepare for interviews. It is discourteous to leave them in a state of uncertainty for weeks without providing a timely response. Regrettably, in my case, I underwent several rounds of interviews and provided tailored work examples for the position, only to receive no response from the employer. I am relieved that I did not pursue employment with this particular gallery, given their haughty attitude and lack of professionalism. During the first interview, the interviewer was tardy and caused a delay in the proceedings. The subsequent interview involved generalized questions that suggested the employer was seeking an individual with the ability to fulfill multiple job responsibilities. This was evident by their inquiry about additional skills and proficiencies beyond the initial job requirements.
