applied via email and got called for an interview with 6 designers. Was asked to show 2 projects that I'm proud of and introduce myself. Made an effort to make an engaging presentation but disinterested blank faces throughout which put me off the studio. When I first applied to the studio it seemed like a fun environment based on self promotional articles. This was my first interview and I was nervous but as soon as i joined the call no one cared to make light conversation or even smile. When I asked how everyone was, one person responded in a few words and jumped straight to a presentation showing their work and seemed disinterested the whole time. Felt very intimidating and as if I was just wasting their time from the beginning. Was very upset after the interview. Got a rejection email saying personality was missing from the interview process but there wasn't scope or the environment to show personality. Interviews should be a two way street. Although I appreciate the feedback I did not appreciate their attitudes throughout and was very different from what they portray.
