Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Stryker (Greenville, SC) en jun 2015
Entrevista
I found the position on the company website. I worked for a medical company prior that worked with Stryker all the time, I did the same type of work and was perfectly qualified for the position.
I submitted my resume online, and was contacted in 15 minutes by HR. I did my HR pre-screen and was given a time to interview with the hiring manager.
Upon interviewing with the hiring manager, he made it seem as though they wanted to hire me and told me he would have the same HR lady contact me with the next steps, she then left on vacation and I didn't hear from her for a almost a month. Then she contacted me, stating that I was a perfect match and told me that the next step would be taking the Gallup test, which was all just behavioral questions and to answer them honestly.
I took the test about a week after the conversation with HR, and waited to hear back from her regarding the next step (in person interview in TX). I was sent an email stating that I did not pass the Gallup test. I was in shock, this interview process took over two months, 4 interviews and I didn't even get to the final interview.
Looking back, I let the interviews and the words the interviewer used allow me to think I was already given the position, that I was just going through the formalities. I actually had turned down another position because I was that sure I had the job.
Conversation with HR rep. If you pass that interview, then you advance to the gallup interview. Finally you would have a final round of interviews with managers. Mine was a virtual final round.

Applied to the role via job board and receive request to set up an interview 2 weeks later.
The interview was with a Senior R&D Manger and was expected to last 30 minutes. (Interview ended up lasting for a bit over an hour).
Overall I would rate this one of my worst interview experiences. It was evident that the interviewer was not interested. From being cut off continuously throughout the interview to the visible frustration seen if my response to his questions were more than a sentence, this interview felt more like an interrogation rather than a productive conversation to see if I was a fit candidate for the role.
The job description did not explicitly list out any specific areas of technical expertise this role required and the interviewer had noted that this role is not technical heavy. However, we still spent the majority of the time reviewing technical problems that wouldn’t be easy to prepare for.
I am interviewing with other roles at Stryker and this seems like an isolated events as my other interviews have been a positive experience.
Please view interviews like this as an extreme red flag. If you’re treated like this during an interview, you’ll be treated worse on the job.

The process was made of several rounds. First was with recruiter then hiring manager, then Gallup behavior assessment, and the a panel of 4-5 people individually. After then I talked with potential future teammates.
