The process was cool and the feedback on the call was also good but after that they told we are looking for architect then why did they interviewed waste of time?

It was good. Asked about projects. Past experiences, work. And some tech, and some other discussion. Projects and all. Usual LC problems (mostly easy and medium) not with interview preparation in mind as such.
