      Entrevista

      The president, Sheri, contacts me and asks me a bunch of phone interview questions through email. I'm talking four different emails asking a different question every time. Before I could answer the last email, she sends me another asking if she could finally schedule a phone interview. I give her a set time, and she proceeds to ask for a phone interview outside of my time window. Whatever, finally get the phone interview scheduled. The next day, she emails me 30 min before the interview and tells me to postpone it until the end of the day. This is the point I should've just said no, but I believe in the best of people. Maybe she was just busy. So I go through with it. Sheri was awful. Called 20 min late, and didn't apologize for it or for postponing our interview. Hadn't looked at my resume, kept asking me questions that were right on my resume and had a rude attitude the whole time. Not to mention I could hear her eating something while she was talking. So at this point, I am ready to call it a day. I honestly think I wasn't a fit for the position, which was completely my fault, for not explaining my position and knowledge as smoothly as I could. That's totally on me. The worst part? As she was telling me I wasn't right for the position (which I do respect), she pretty much hung up on me as I was wishing her the best with her search! Didn't even let me ask any questions even if I wanted to. Rude rude rude. Advice: if you want to hire the best people, you have to have good people on the front lines who are going to make your company look organized and respectful. Sheri does not make you look good. Very bad etiquette.
