I wasn't interviewed. I received a standard TBNT email that read: Hi, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to chat with me about the role. I enjoyed getting to hear more about your experience and passion for working at Stitch Fix. Unfortunately, we have made the decision not to move forward with your candidacy for this role. Please know this was a difficult decision, and we appreciate the time and energy you brought to this process so far. As we consider the immediate and future needs of the team from this role, we felt that we should go in another direction. We wish you the best in your search and hope to stay connected! Pretty standard - but the problem is: I was not contacted for a pre-screen or had a chat with the recruiter. This is sloppy work on the behalf of the recruiter. Very disappointing as a candidate who is interested in a role, spends time filling out an application, only to get a shotty response that is inaccurate. It is a slap in the face. Do better.
