I received a call from the company recruiter. 1st round was scheduled with in a week. 1st round was more of a discussion, went well; a week later, 2nd round was scheduled; again more of a discussion; by this time, I understood that State Street applications are using yesteryear technologies; then the 3rd round had happend with the US team - it was a panel of 3 people - they explicitly told me that they are technical people, asked me to talk more in technical terms; as questions were asked, I realized that they do not have the correct understanding of latest/modern technology - they struggled to understand even the basic terms - this could be indication that they are suddenly exposed to the technologies while maintaining huge amount of code in decade old technologies; I never received a call back from the recruiter nor I was expecting; felt like I escaped from the set of people with whom I would have struggled if I was selected.
