I applied online, and then about a week later I got a call from them to set up the interview. It was pretty straight forward setting it up - they didn't ask you anything over the phone aside from what day you'd like to come in. Went into the interview, then was told after just chatting with the guy for about two minutes (He asked me to talk about myself a little, I talked about the charity work I had done), then he asked my age, I said 17. He then told me they don't hire 17 year olds, have to be 18 or older, which I know is not company policy. I didn't question him, though, and in his defense everyone that seemed to be working in that store was older than 30. He told me I seemed nice and everything though and that I should re-apply when I'm 18, which I'm going to do if I haven't found other employment. I consider it a bad experience because I did really get my hopes up and everything just to find out they didn't even really bother to read my application at all (my age is clearly stated on it.)
