I went through 5 rounds of interviews and was all but told I was the frontrunner for the position. Next steps were to schedule my final interview, which I was told would be imminent. It has been nearly a month since my most recent interview and it's been absolute radio silence. I'll refrain from sharing specifics from the interviews themselves, other than to say that it took me longer than I believe it should have (meaning, I had to ask the same questions multiple times of multiple people) to get any modicum of clarity on some very important particulars of the role. It's too bad, because on paper it's a great institution, but I've been left questioning the caliber of its internal processes and the coherence of its org/unit goals.
