Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en Stamps.com (El Segundo, CA) en jun 2020

      Entrevista

The interview process lasted 3 months, not weeks, but MONTHS and it was a complete waste of time. I spoke with 4 different people from the marketing team including HR which made that 5 people in total. I was asked crazy scenario questions by the CMO who had the thickest accent that I couldn't understand him. After everything, they ended up giving the job to a former employee, which was fine because HR notified me of what happened. Then, they were nice to ask me back for a second position that I didn't apply for because the VP really liked me and wanted me to try it out. The second interview with the other hiring manager went great and he said I should hear back soon. A couple weeks went by and HR called me saying the VP was out for two weeks and they will let me know as soon as she comes back. I waited patiently thinking I was finally going to get a job during this pandemic. Then, I heard nothing, absolutely nothing. To everyone reading this - you don't want to work for those time-wasters who strung me along and completely ghosted!

      Entrevista

Both of my initial phone interviews went well. I had one interview with their recruiter and one with the hiring manager. I asked a lot of detailed questions and was very clear about the differences between the role they were hiring for and my previous role. But, the hiring manager still seemed very eager. I was asked to come in for an in person interview and was supposed to meet with three people, the recruiter, hiring manager and VP. I spoke with the VP first and for some reason she was under the impression that she was the only person I was supposed to speak with. However, she found the recruiter and I had a brief discussion with him, but the hiring manager was busy and I was not able to meet with him. It came off as very unprofessional that they weren't organized with the interview process. I recognize that it may have just been a strategic decision on the part of the VP when she decided she didn't want to hire me. However, I think there was a huge disconnect between my discussions with both the recruiter and hiring manager and what the VP was ultimately looking for. I never received any kind of follow up email which I think is incredibly rude when someone takes time off work to come in for an in-person interview. Please consider being more considerate of people's time.
