      Entrevista

I had a friend of mine who worked at the company who referred me for the job to the warehouse manager and gave him my application. He called me about 2 weeks later to see if I was still interested in the position. I went in for an interview shortly after we talked on the phone and we spoke about my work experience and the expectations of the job. I felt like I did a good job answering his questions, asking questions of my own and positive I would be a good candiate. After that portion of the inverview was over he asked me to go with him into the warehouse to complete a series of driving test on a forklift. The first few test were very simple test of general movements of the machine and it's operations. However when I was asked to pick up a unit of plywood from a overhead storage rack and bring it to the ground and then re-postion on the rack the mood of the interview changed. As soon as the forklift picked up the weight of the plywood off the rack the weight shifted and it fell about 12' to the ground and landing on two 55 gallon drums of glue. The drums were made of thick cardboard that weren't able to support the weight of the plywood when it landed on them and the drums broke and poured all over the floor. The glue splashed on the computer equipment and other electronic devices that were stored near by and it caused their computer system to fail. The manager was extremely nice about the situation and after I apologized several times and helped clean up the glue and plywood he walked me out to their lobby. He told me that he would still consider me for the position regardless of the accident and would contact me in the next week. Unfortunately I was contacted and told that they had found another candiate, but would keep my application on hand for fuure openings that they felt I qualified for. I haven't heard back from them since that phone call.

      Pregunta 1

How do you think we can get 110# of yellow glue off the floors and away from these computer parts before it dries and ruins everything it touches.
