Me postulé a través de otra fuente. El proceso tomó 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Stability AI (Denver, CO) en abr 2025

      Entrevista

The process started off great. I had my initial interview with the recruiter then talked with one of the AEs and got incredible feedback saying "we should just close the role now". Which was a great boost to my confidence, I was over qualified for the role given I have already fully built and managed a SDR org from the ground up and this was technically just an SDR role with the potential to move into manager position if things go well. We quickly set up the final round interview which was a 3 in 1 hour and a half call with another HR person, another GTM team member and the head of sales. Which I felt went great, my conversations were good, i could tell I would work well with everyone and my sales training amd experience fit well with how they were establishing their process. My final question for each person is always "do you have any reservations about me joining the team?" That way I can address any concerns they might have and better my chances. (Very salesy but its my profession so it works also helps address my skills handling objections) no one gave me a single concern. So i figured I was in a great spot. I followed up after the interview, thanking them for the time and expressing my high level of interest in joining the team. I was told they would get back to me by end of next week with their decision. Which i dont know why because every interview process i have been a part of we just slack eachother after and all give our approval or not. But they wanted to meet in person and discuss, which is fine just seemed like it adds unnecessary time. But I figured it wouldnt actually take that long as everything went extremely well. But this is where my issues arose. After waiting patiently for a full week i pinged my contact late on that friday just to touch base and see if he had an update (not an answer just an update). But he never responded, I would think that for a top applicant (their words not mine) you would keep them posted, i understand things happen but you already took a full week. The least you can do is respond. I figured i would hear back first thing monday since he missed his follow up timeline but no, i dont hear anything until Tuesday at like 6 pm my time. They apologised for the delay and said they werent able to meet and discuss an offer yet. But they were set to meet this Thursday. Which is totally fine, i dont care about the delay in the process. I care about not being updated. If i ended up not being able to meet the first week, i would message someone asap letting them know there is a delay. Not let them sit there wondering for a week and a half. But i try not to let it hinder my thoughts as i really like the company and team and expressed multiple times that they are my top choice. I expected they would meet thursday and I would get a message right away since they already kept me waiting. But Friday comes around and still no word, so again i pinged him in the afternoon to ask for an update but no word. I ping again on monday just to check in since it was late on friday when i pinged and it could have been easily missed. Nothing, i finally get a message on Wednesday saying they have decided not to move forward and that he truely wishes he had better news. Which is fine, i have been passed up on jobs before. But to be put up on a pedestal, made to believe this offer is almost guaranteed because everyone said this is the guy and voiced no conerns about me joining the team. Then be completely ignored and left in the dark for over 2 and a half weeks is just unprofessional and disrespectful. I asked for feedback too help me going forward, as they gave no reason but I have yet to hear back as well, i dont expect too.
