      Entrevista

      I applied online and was contacted via email by their talent coordinator. The process took over a month. The first step was a phone interview with the talent coordinator. Then a phone interview with the lead designer. Then a design test (which I found odd as I've never had to do that for a job before—the portfolio should speak for itself and this is a huge time commitment to ask of a candidate). Then, finally, an in-person interview for over 2 hours with 5 people at different levels of the organization. During that interview it was clear that each of these people had different ideas of what the job entailed and what they were looking for. After all that, I was told that the team realized they couldn't agree on a candidate or even what they wanted, and were going back to the drawing board. This whole process was a huge time and talent investment, and in the end, I felt like they were just fishing for ideas for their product and process rather than looking to fill the position in earnest. Lots of very specific questions about the process at my current organization and asking for suggestions for their product, rather than questions about me as a candidate and why I would be a good fit.
